Introduction
The Checker Network is a pluggable, verifiable quality of service and reputation data layer for DePINs and Web3 Networks. Prospective Web3 network clients can use the data from Checker Network subnets to choose which networks and nodes to use. Checker Network data is already being used to help Filecoin data clients choose which nodes to store their data with.
Web3 networks and foundations can improve their network’s value proposition and increase their user base by adding verifiable checks provided by the Checker Network. Clients want to know what level of service they can expect when using a network. The Checker Network provides verifiable trustless quality of service checks for key network metrics.
At a high level, the value flow of the cChecker Network is as follows. Clients want to see data around which networks and nodes to use as providers. They pay to see this data. These funds are placed into the Checker Network on chain fund to be paid out to Checkers, Providers and Builders. The more value that is placed on chain, the more builders will be attracted to build subnets that gather data around Web3 networks.
We will now go into more detail around what a subnet is and what the incentives are for building a subnet, which includes a perpetual builders fee.
